I'm thinking of heading up to Shelly Point Tuesday could be worth a trip, do you think there's enough swell or am I dreaming.

Tuesday 28 January

Seas1.5 to 2.5 metres.
1st Swell: Northeasterly around 1 metre, increasing to 1.5 metres around midday.
2nd Swell: Southerly below 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres offshore by early evening

I'll ring you in the morning Iceman the forecast still looks pretty good not sure whether Damo and Fluro are coming they will no doubt need to call a committee meeting to decide whether they should think about it then they'll call an annual general meeting to decide whether they could have potentially made the wrong or right decision depending on what decision they came to but all that is very confusing so we need a process to decrease the complexity of decision making.................................... maybe I'm a dumb bastard but I just look at the forecast and if it's good I go

After my rather embarrassing and hopeless efforts it was good to see someone at least got a bit of a ride. We will do it again one day. As a side note, I had a rather long swim in with my gear after having trouble getting going after my first ride out, as mentioned on another thread, some extra floatation is a good idea as well as being some protection for the ribs.
