Is anyone planning on going for a sail at the cremorne lagoon early afternoon today (Friday) , that had a spare boom?

First sail in a couple of years, got all rigged up, and realised my boom is still at home in Margate. Augh :(

It's not really worth derigging, the 90 minute round trip then re-rigging.

So I'm clutching at straws now.

I wonder what i can fashion out of my spare mast :D

Oh well, it was worth a try.

I'll go home and find some jobs to do instead. Hopefully the weekend brings some wind.

Thanks Damien, I've sent you a whatsapp message.

On the bright side, I got to wire up a new woodworking machine, so still got a little bit of stoke on.
