Izaak, would I be right in saying Stanley looks good Monday, great Tuesday and epic Wednesday and Thursaday.

Ended up in Stanley, just getting some lunch. Some are on the east inlet.

Clyde & I staying the night in Stanley in a cabin, bit too wet to set up a tent at Marrawah. So where's the go for tomorrow?? Back here at Stanley? Port Latta? Bugger off rain.

Yes some nice numbers, we will be in a cabin the next few days should be there around ten tomorrow morning.

First time I've sailed Stanley great spot although I was a but p...... off with my speed.... but there's always tomorrow, another good forecast.
3 sails in 3 days in 3 different locations and 3 disciplines, wave, bump & jump and speed... can it really get much better....well maybe a bit of sun.

Great to finally meet Perks, Izaak, James and Jordon M....I can see why you guys are into speed... got me pumped flying down those channels.

Fos I think Jez is going to knock you off, I reckon he got a PB today.

Just checked GPS and yes Jez hit 26, nice one.... sorry Fos when I left him on the beach he said all he wanted was to knock you off

Yes, it was one of the most spectacular crash's I've ever seen. Through the haze of the torrential rain I saw Houston round the corner into the second chanel then in a split second, in 40 knots of wind and well over thirty knots everything exploded into a double cartwheel whith Ant wrapped up in the middle of it. I went into panic thinking he'd destroyed several parts of his body and maybe broken his neck. Dragging my gear through the shallows trying to get back to the channel I saw Anthony water start and again I could breath. He pulled up next to me with a huge smile on his face and no damage, thank goodness.
Fair dinkum what is this blokes problem, hes happy to smash the crap out of himself cartwheeling all over the place, but wont try a safe old forward loop. Pussy!!!

Well done Karen for hitting the 30knots, how good does it feel!!

And Jez what an effort, 6 months ago you had a battle up-hauling the sail and now you're a fraction off 30 and on your 115L in a 40 knot wind!!!
Now just give your big board to Clare and get her down to the lagoon on a sunny day.

I got smashed out in that middle channel, going flat out in the chop out of control, went air borne, cartwheeled, survived but nothing worse than getting drilled when you're on your own............limped home and realised Kaleb witnessed it....... fantastic.

Thanks Ant for the kind words, it certainly was a fantastic trip and I think their would’ve been a lot of happy faces at the end of it. I think nearly everyone that sailed at Stanley with a GPS from newbie through to the young guns and a bit older scored at least one PB and saw good improvement in their speeds.

I had one big crash as well, not as bad as yours by the sounds of things, but bad enough. Claire caught it on video as well, may post it at some point.

Looking forward to this weekend and hopefully we see some sunshine and warmer weather.
