There was a good turnout at BB on Sunday with the Hobart crew arriving around the middle of the day and Gill and I around 3.30. We took a few photos when we arrived then Gill took a few more on the high tide at the end of the day. Great conditions with a solid 27 to 33 knots of wind.

Nice aerial Al! Especially in cross on!

Some major looping going on down there too! Wish I could still sail there.

The wind was starting to swing cross off late afternoon and unusually stayed really strong. That was great for speed DTL but hitting the lip with speed was a pretty foreign experience and nearly ended badly. I got pitched from the lip of one wave and my front foot came out on landing in front of the wave so I got dragged with my back foot stuck in the footstrap and thought I was going to end up with broken foot. Fortunately only a bit sore.

The Northern windsurfers group had more active southern users than northern users! That's twice in the last couple of months that Southerners have been the majority on the water at BB ( probably the two best days too). Well done ... it's a solid drive with the risk of fickle conditions.
