There is only one wave event planned for the summer however it will be at Marrawah and it will be the state titles. The event will run as heats with judging by competitors who are not in the active heat. For this to happen we need at least 7-8 competitors. These people will need to indicate their interest soon and become members of WT. The $35 membership option is ok for a single event entry.
Let's hope some of the recent windy weather holds out for another couple of weeks. Please pm Al, or leave a message here if there's interested sailors. We'll need to make a call on weather forecast early next week. Cheers, Mort
Unfortunately the forecast looks pretty average for the weekend so this event won't happen. There is still a window to hold the event later in the month if conditions look good.
