Hi, a few of us sail at Rosevears during summer on a north west breeze. When the wind gets round to the west we head down to Lagoon Bay.

Definitely still enough people on the water, some from "back in the day" and some more recent converts. In your average summer week at Lagoon you will see gear from all the windsurfing decades ( well maybe not from the late seventies).

Yes I remember, the middle of summer, warm water, sunshine........roll on summer. I will definitely be spending plenty of time down and hope to run more "try windsurfing" days.

cheers Al

If there's enough wind we will sail regardless of tide. However I try not to fall in as the water looks like a chocolate milkshake (pretty sure it won't taste like one). The runs do get a little shorter and a good pair of booties are mandatory as there are oysters to negotiate at the enrty spot.

About 50m north of the bottom of McEwans Road. There is a driveway with a red antipulp mill banner opposite the launch area. If you have gone past tamar house then you've missed it
