Trying to build up a bank of information on Windsurfing spots on the bay. Can anyone advise what wind direction works, rigging conditions, sandbar?, rocks? AM or PM

Bonbeach, works well on a ssw seabreeze not as strong as the beaches closer to the city but alot cleaner.
North threw to nw is also good.
West is smack on shore and the shore break is not very forgiving, I avoid.
Any dirrection with east is poor as well.

I have sailed Bonbeach twice and loved it... conditions were more or less onshore 20-25knts... great wind swell to play in. No rocks to worry about just a bit of a side current.

How does it compare to green point in N-NW direction?

.... I used to windsurf at Gnotuk (Aspendale) in a N/NW and it was less gusty than green point! If Bonbeach compares to Gnotuk then I will be keen try Bonbeach on the next Northerly

If Hampton has a 20knts seabreeze how would Bonbeach compare?

Apparently it sometimes has a little less wind than Green Point, but I sailed there last Sunday because I couldn't get to Green Point because of the marathon and I had a great time. Great spot.
