Could be keen for Sunday. Have sailed there on an Easterly with Matt - works well at low tide because the sand bar pops up out of the water on the far side of the channel giving some nice flat water.

Watkins page says add 90 mins to the tide at Port Phillip Heads to get Sandy Point tide times.

thats what seabreeze says but check the BOM it says no wind all week and i find seabeeze dont get it right. i find the bom better what about you guys? i was at sandy point last monday there was no wind just 10 knots. i windsurfed late till the sun went down cause the wind came up to 14 knots. i was the only guy out felt like i owned the beach. i got on a plane for a few seconds then off again. feels like it has been years since i have had a good plane on my sailboard. everytime i go out the wind is to light or to strong like 30+ knots. i think this time of year it is normal tho for us to have crapy wind. but still this spring,summer has been bad a guys for windsurfing.

Hey Matt where are you getting the forecast of 20 - 25 kts from. Every site I am looking at is 17 - 20 kts

HA HA , i got there real that, i know i think i did post that same day in the morning ya right there buddy. but me and me mate decided to go to sandy in search of some wind cause we wanted to have a good sail for once. we said to each other we will sail till the sun goes down and keep windsurfing so we did and drove home in the dark.

Oh, maybe there's a problem with the clock in my computer. In the topic:

it looks like you posted at 11:30 in the morning and then again at 6 at night. Did I get the day wrong?

If you lived in Melbourne, doesn't it take about 2.5 hours each way to get to Sandy Point?

Well we are on for the PIT Sunday. Look forward to catching up with all and sundry for what looks like a 20kt day on the water. Make sure you come and say giday I am driving a Black Toyota Hilux with back pack. On the water I am the one falling off all the time. Might have to talk to Flickyspinny to show me how to do it in style.

No style? ...I have a few good "stacks" on video that proves otherwise. And I've never seen the buttocks on the tail of the board dismount you showed me last weekend at Inverloch.... that was a painfull one to watch but oh so funny!
