Where is every one windsurfing this weekend?

Myself:
Saturday – Not much wind forecast, maybe family duties.
Sunday – If the forecast stays true then maybe a trip to home ground Bonno. I might get out my course racing kit for some practice before the WV Winter Course Racing Season out of Mordy Sailing Club.

Refer to the extract from BOM forecast below for Port Philip Bay.
Local Waters Forecast for Port Phillip
Forecast issued at 5:10 am EST on Friday 24 June 2011.

Saturday 25 June
Winds Northerly 5 to 10 knots, reaching 15 knots at times in the late morning and early afternoon. Seas Below 0.5 metres increasing to 0.5 to 1 metres around midday.

Sunday 26 June
Winds Northerly 15 to 20 knots tending west to northwesterly during the afternoon then becoming westerly up to 10 knots during the evening. Seas 0.5 to 1 metre increasing to 1.5 metres during the morning then decreasing to below 0.5 metres during the evening.

Please note; these are not Windsurfing Victoria Inc organised events and this post is to be used as information only. The intent of this post is for windsurfers to post where they could be going to windsurf this weekend and for other windsurfers to possible come and join them.

Warm breeze, warm water, even warm beer is inviting after recent freezeboarding.
Sunday will try the Morwell pond, through Churchill. The evil coal burners are still running flat out (which is why we have no power restrictions.) and they heat up an incredible area.
Taking some earplugs to keep bugs out. Can.t be all that bad, have seen fish swimming around in it....
