Not sure if i would recommend Horizon, they dont like windsurfers either. I took my last sail to SHQ drop off monday pick up friday no hassle and fair price.

Never had those issues with Ian Thomson, he has always been good. I once had the main strap on an old harness repaired, he only charged me $12. Give him a call, you will be happy.

Hooper Sails in Sandringham-ish.
He did a good job on mine, cheap and quick, but your on the other side of the bay arent you.

Don't make the mistake I did...took a sail to a local upholsterer. He patched it with what looked like a strip off a truck side-curtain! Stitched straight through mono too!

Didn't charge me (I think he knew it was a crappy job & out of his expertise), but it prob added to the cost when I had to get it fixed properly...

Well, somebody there is right on the ball. My latest (last season) Ga**** was coming to bits, finally I pushed the mast gently right through the luff material. Thought to throw it away, but Horizon replaced a panel, sleeved the luff, reinforced the head, restitched the Asian cotton.
Ground down couple of replacement battens from fibreglass electric fence posts and it is back in business.

yeah Steve that was me on the carve 111.

Ended up going to Irwin sails (Hooper was on holidays), turnaround was 2 days, he did a really nice job - even the stitching was straight (unlike the other sail repairer I had used before). He seems to know his stuff plus is a active skiff sailor with a kick ass international 14. I would go back there again.
