For a young person (to young to be able to rent a car) is Geraldton worth the trip? I am looking for somewhere to go for 2 or 3 weeks in March and thought Geraldton might be a possibility. Is there somewhere that I can base myself that will give me access to most of the beach? Or is it just a place that requires a car? Any help would be much appreciated.

If you staeyed at sunset caravan park you could access sunset beach, but it doesn't work as mauch as the other breaks where you's need a car.

Sweet I guess I will have to look into finding a car. Are there any smaller windsurfing car rentals that will possibly rent to an under 20 year old?

for 3 weeks worth of rental, you might be better off buying a cheap car like a Ford Falcon wagon.

try clubred in perth fella. they're a backpackers that have falcon wagons perfect for windsurfers, fairly priced too i think. have fun and stay away from the locals they're crazy!
