Empty too. Just about perfect-except for the fact that it is on that unatural other tack!

Not if you sail Windang, Makaha or Newport on the east coast

It's about as far away from the current PWA wave tour (which has been amazing) as I can imagine.

i just love the way that was shot and edited - great soundtrack with some nice sync going on.Fantastic angles and considered framing /photography.

i cant believe you had footage of this quality that didnt make it into the final DVD ! You guys must have been spoiled for choice.

I love how the top turn spray jet just gets caught in the backdraft off the wave and becomes part of it - nicely captured.

awesome job.

Best online windsurfing video of the year (so far) vote from me

I'd take a guess it could be Cape Verde

apparently it's called Ali Baba and it's on Cape Verde ... not exactly a cheap destination from Australia.

awesome footage. kinda reminds me of a vid last year of boujma in Morocco similar setup with smooth fast waves and offshore winds.

bit of an aside, but who shapes kauli's custom boards? I think appart from official photoshoots you always see him in videos riding a fish tail quad (occasional winger guest appearance) for the past 3 years, surprising that the design hasn't made it into the jp range yet. They seem to be more surfing orientated.. kinda like the chopper/nuevo and ssd keel quads? Surely a board like that has a spot in the jp range.

Like many of the pro's - Note the sticker on the tail

ah quatro of course. i guess that may kind of explain the swallow tail similarity on the quatro boards. would be interested in why it hasn't made it into the JPs yet... does look like an amazing board

wild guess... because there isn't enough of a market for those type of boards?
