It wasn't NE here in the Gong, was N to NNE, might have been sucked around to NE at the G though? Tried a new spot I have never sailed before, half mast and awesome :D

The south side of the reef heading out from Towradgi pool. I've never sailed it before but it used to be quite popular back in the day I believe. Works better in a Nth wind (wouldn't work in NW though) rather than NE as it's cross shore then rather than cross on. Also the swell size helped as it was breaking further out somewhat negating the lighter wind on the inside. In that wind/swell direction though it was tops, super clean being downwind of the reef; great way to end the week :)
