I currently live on Maui and am moving to NSW in the Autumn - probably Queensland just south of Brisbane. Does anyone know what the general conditions are like? Obviously I'm used to cross-shore, boardshorts and up to double mast high - the only sails I have are a 4.5 and 4.7. What's the score down under?

Just south of Brisbane...jeez Dan you saw what our conditions are like only a few weeks ago

Ok, so just so you don't get lynched, Queensland (even just south or Brisbane) is not NSW. Trust me, in these parts people have been burnt at the stake for less.

I concur with Dan, stay where you are. If you must come you will need some bigger sails, hard to say exactly what without knowing your weight. You will most likely need a bigger board than you usually ride over there as well.

Might have to add an extra meter to your sails..

There's a reason it's called Surfer's Paradise, not Windsurfer's Paradise
