^^ Yep I'd second that, best all around wave sailor on the planet at the moment I reckon. Ex freestyle world champ, has a pretty on point aerial game and sick wave riding, super consistent too.
- In the pure aerial game it's hard to argue against Phillip Koster, dude isn't a 5 time champ for no reason, just a pure master, particularly on port tack jumping. I think the world tour locations for a while now have favoured that style which is one of the reasons he's been so dominant.
- Pure wave riding, still a huge Polakow fan, dude just had a mad style, huuuge laydowns and massive cut backs. Also in that vein Jaeger Stone also has a super rad style and the fact he does so well in places like Pozo given how on shore it is and heavily favours jumping is a testament to just how good he is at shredding bombs.
You also include sailors from past, what about Bjorn I think he won 7 wave titles..?
In his time,nobody won so many wave titles,but why nobody talk about him?
You could also say the same for Robby Naish I guess? Polakow just sticks in my mind as having a style that at the time upped the game which is why I put him at the top of that era; granted Naish had already retired by then. I n my opinion had no peer in pure wave riding at that time. I reckon Kauli Seadi should also probably be in there, he could arguable be attributed with starting the trend of the super short quad style wave boards that many of us ride today. Some of the stuff he was experimenting with in the early 2000's was wild
Edit: As in my first post though in my mind the current all around boss and embodiment of most of them is Brawz, seems most agree

Seems to be bad luck more than anything else. Koster is the best guy in Pozo. Braw routinely gets 2nd or 3rd. Tenerife, Braw is a lot better than Philip but usually loses out to the lighter guys as they can get more out of each wave in light winds. Sylt, Braw came back from something like 16th place last year to get 2nd but narrowly got beaten but Traversa. Again in Maui he had super bad luck, because we already know he's one of the best guys at Hookipa.
Then you have his freesailing performance at Jaws, which is leagues above anyone else.
He can do all the big jumps like push forwards, stalled doubles etc just as well on Starboards tack as he can on port.
the reason braw is being talked about so much here isnt because he's the best at any one part of wavesailing (except riding jaws), but instead because he's almost the best at everything. Nobody is as well rounded as he is. He is a contender at every spot of the world tour.
