Looks like the individual states have got some good programs together.
Did anyone decide where this years nationals are being held?
There was a lot of talk around March but then nothing.

I guess this what can happen when there is no stand alone Australian wavesailing committee or president.
Up until this year things happened with out any major issues simply through committed people with no mandate making it happen.
This year the sad thing is there was at least 2 States wanting it and NSW were even prepared to do it if no one else wanted it.
However a late call that it couldn't be done in WA meant it was not likely anyone would jump into action and organise it for Spring or early Summer.
Some may not realise it takes several months to get everything together to run such an event without losing heaps of money or getting into trouble with the Authorities.
Thus without a president or committee to push things along it just won't happen this year.

Sobering experience.

I now have a five piece mast, two piece extension and a one batten sail.
