first the BAD NEWS-
a very vigilant (we often use other language to describe him but trying to play the ball not the man) transport SA officer has taken to fining wavesailors on the south coast for not wearing PFDs in the surf; see below

Good news is its a wing off a vertebrae only?!, no spinal chord damage and should make a full recovery. see below

its been smoking down here, super SA september firing right up on cue, sailing pretty much every day of the last week. Days lost only for being TOO windy.
