Hello all down under. I am from Norway ,and we have probably asked before. ..Have any one seen the old summers a breeze movie from 88 ore something. They sent it on discovery channel early 90 . We are all missing it. Can anyone track it up. The sola windsurfing club in Norway want too buy it. Yes, definitely Josh Adams at Esperance off Summers a breeze.
Josh was certainly a legend back then.
His boards were normally 7'6" always under 20" wide and mostly shaped out of a surfboard blank.

I remember the guys at Diamond Head telling me that Robbie Naish stopped at the top of the cliff at Diamond Head just before a major contest in the late 80's.
Josh was out there and was absolutely shredding the place like it had never been done before.
Robbie raced back hope and grabbed his video camera just to video Josh.

At that time Robbie was king of everywhere especially Diamond Head.
Yes, Josh certainly did turn heads.

Josh certainly was and no doubt still is a quietly spoken, humble, nice guy.

I still remember the days he'd turn up to Gerroa and a significant number of guys would take a very long break from sailing to watch Josh work his magic.

Several year ago, after taking a long break from sailing, Josh turned up to Gerroa with the same gear he had in the late 80's.
He was sailing down the beach away from the action when one of the younger local shredders approached me.
Eyes wide open he reported that some guy down there was ancient gear and was fully going off.
Sure enough it was Josh.
