Crazy waves

Anyone know if crazy waves works in tomorrow arvos forecast? I've never sailed there, but parents in law live nearby and am going to be there ...

Depends what you mean by works!
There will be crazy waves coming from all directions down off the groyne South of the Cafe car park.
Best to park there as there have been break ins in the next carpark south.
Can be good for jumping with the odd backside turn and some rollers to gybe off.
Best is at low tide.
Usually only a preference when it is too onshore elsewhere

ah, ok thanks. I got the impression it is more exciting than that! Dutchies it is then, if it actually blows now...

^^ it is an isn't. Used to be awesome.....
Needs lots of swell and NW to be best, so usually the second or third front in as many days is when it excels
However for jumping and riding on both tacks it is great - I like that just cos it is different.

Nup, I sailed dutchies. Walked the dogs there at 5 pm though and a lone kiter was chopping around in smallish waves, cross-on sw angle. Dutchies was more fun I think, by the looks of it even at wsw onshore. ..
