Harsh? Just a sh1t reply.
Ive been out to little island and want to know the depth of the reef behind there, where the break is so I know what to expect.
The gap to get out there is 200m to the left of the island, it's deep where the wave breaks - around 6m(?) and there's reef to the left of the break (looking out to sea). It does suck dry when you're riding it, but easy to see and easy to see when you're heading out. No good on a small swell, needs a big swell to be any good for riding, but good for jumping on a smaller swell. Probably one of the better spots in metro area for jumping, good for backies. You don't want to go out when it's marginal, you don't want to go out alone and you don't want to gin around in the water for too long.
