Make me feel worse, tell me how good Crazies or something was, show me pics, come on!
My local is now a 1km x 2km lake, it was windy when I arrived, rigged 4.5 which would have been a bit too much perhaps. As I put my last limb in my wettie it swung 45deg and dropped from 30 down to about 12-15kn Faarrkkkk. My first day on the water since I bvggered my shoulder 3 months ago so I was really looking forward to an easy B&J session to test the abilities.
I created a new database, built some pages and replicated them using svn, talked to a client about a new venture, it was totally AWESOME
... And cried every time I looked out the window
I feel your pain Nebs, yep pretty much like my day. i had to see some clients in Busselton. I got to site and to make me fell really good they were parking up all the machines because it was too windy.
dutchies - got on the water about 8.30 on a 4.5. Rigged down to a 4.0 about 9.30. I finallly realised that the apple was just taking the piss and newton's law of gravity is a load of bulls#$t
Housemate is currently punching me cos he had to work as well
Probably a bit early for Crazies to be crankin' Needs a few storms to sort the sand bar out. As long as Port Coogee has not stuffed up sand movement along the coast
I spent the day yesterday infront of the PC, analysing conveyor belt drift downtimes and reconciling train tonnes... no window in my office, but even if i did look out it, it wouldnt make me feel like I was missing anything (being in the middle of nowhere). I did feel bad as a result of the internet, if it wasnt for the internet/seabreeze I wouldnt be feeling so bad right now . Hopefully there is some wind in my next break, but knowing my luck with wind the past few months, its unlikely
friday i managed 2 runs, then wind turned & dropped just as i aquired crashers speed board. At least i came off better than him. i stayed out yesterday so i could sail today..... hmmm guess im just unlucky.
