Went to ******** this arvo.
Smoked on the 4m. Tiny knee high waves. Lots of out of control jumps, forward loops and a handful of foam smacks and tail slides
There was a few crew out. The carpark was full.
I saw Birdseye, Filth, Rob (who came in with a busted foot), Gonewindsurfing, Mr no one and many other familiar faces.
Totally rat chewed but stoked

mmm ive got blisters on my fingers!

my ribs hurt from a catapult into the boom,

Which ticked the last item off the list of everything to break - the inhaul rope- i have now broken one of everything - proudly

got some good jumps in, a few times i was slogging a others i could hardy hold on.

But i am sooo happy. just one thing needed to make this a perfect weekend

I sailed in the Cape Naturaliste protected bays yesterday and today.
Yesterday was in Bunkers Bay ... it was Side-Off shore with some huge Mast high waves in the end of the bay and some knee high really clean waves in the beginning of the bay ...
Unfortunately the wind was really irregular (you know ... ON/OFF) because of the cape ...

Today was in Eagle bay ... the wind was still Side-Off shore and really good but unfornutaley the waves were just like knee high ...

Had a good surf session on a protected point break there (still offshore winds)!!
I think this place is doable in Windsurf with a bigger swell than today (is it possible ?? or a swell more from the west !! I definitilely should have had a look there on saturday !!) ... because the wind was there ... it just needed more swell ... and really safe bay !!

I had a look to Margs which was the biggest huge ****ing messy monster waves I've ever seen ...
And finally, had a look to Flinders Bay which was really nice ... with a side shore wind and some good sets (I think shoulder high ...) in the protected waters of the lighthouse ... but it was really unsafe conditions so didn t go in ...
Just saw 5 dolphins swimming with the longboarders at the Rivermouth and jumping in the waves !!

You guys are living in such a nice country !!
I love it !!

I can't say it for sure but I think that it was a really good week end in Denmark isn t it ??
I think it will be my next trip with westerlies !!
