Hi,

I am looking for recommendations for learning all/any of the above. I am staying in Perth and I think I am near a Freemantle train line in zone 1! If that makes any sense to anyone?

I would love to try kitesurfing and surfing but most of all I would like to improve my windsurfing. I cant afford to do all these learn to courses which I have found advertised, they also seem quite expensive for only a few hours on the water.

Any help/ideas would be brilliant.

Zone 1, sounds like you'll be close to Perth - within 5km's.
Pelican Point in Nedlands would be your best bet for wind/kitesurfing.
Take the train down to cottesloe or north fremantle for surf/wavesailing.
By a cheap surfboard (i'm selling 2 on here for $400) and paddle out somewhere.
Just try not to get in the way of the other 2,000,000 people in the water in summer

Hi,

I have found quite a few people who do kitesurfing lessons but they are way way too expensive, seems it would cost me over a thousand to get to any kind of independent level!

I have hopefully found someone who can teach me how to surf! Thanks for the offer of a cheap board but I am too chicken to go out by myself and I have no transport, might be a bit bulky to try and lug around the trains/ buses!
