Right on the Southern Tip according to the BOM website

The BOM weather station is located at the helicopter facility at the souothern end of the island.

thank you, didnt think to check BOM, reason I ask is because I often wonder about swanbourne VS Garden Island, and even with the different time frame for Garden island, I imagine that Garden indicates whats going to happen north east of the island. (in a SW'er anyway)
