hello just wanted to know how much it would cost me to repair a sail i have it a small tear on the bottom of the sail, i will take some photos to show you how bad it is..
and who in perth will repair it thanks..

i have the same problem im not sure if i put my head through it or the board damaged it at rocko the locals laughed but one of them lent me some automotive tape wich has fibres in it and i used that and it worked a treat.
i have a bigger secondhand sail 150 bucks from 2nd wind sails of canning highway now but the oldone still gets used (with tape) for when my mates want to try. and i still use it
if u are learning tape it up with the tape they use on the bathurst cars it will be sweet dont wory everyone has been there and taped saild before

i think paying for a repair would be a waste

get a better quality second hand sail for a couple of hundren bucks, zues... maybe one without cams OR tape it up yourself and use it as much as u can..til it dies.

That sail you've got looks shot to pieces, IF u repair, in a short time it will tear somewhere else ...

all the shops in perth carry a decent range of sails, ring up first though .

with a 430 mast and the extension u have , that should fit a sail in the 5 - 6.5 area

what type of tape can i used to repair this one..
this is my second windsurfer i have just for the boys when they come out with me....

Just get the 2" wide (50mm) 100 MPH tape (the one with cord in it.) Auto shops, Bunnings and places like that will have it
