Weird mast placement. What do you guys think of this design. Anyone have experience with it yet?

Such placement makes sense as it creates rigid connection between your feet and foil.

Having owned an inflatable, it was far too thick and short with a lot of drag.

This seems to solve some of that. I'm unsure how I feel about the plate being aluminum, corrosion is definitely an issue.
Also 122L is just too much for the smallest size. Needs to be thinner.

I must say that I'm very happy with Gong Hipe v2. So much I sold my hard board. Can't wait to get my preordered Hipe Pro.

What size are you riding? My brother in law is asking for advice, but I have newer ridden an inflatable.
He is 95 kg and a total beginner. He has windsurf a bit. He is considering the 6.0 160L.
