Welcome to the equipment jungle!! There seems to be more and more gear coming to market all the time these days. Here is my 2 cents. axis foils are a great aluminium Foil setup. Strong, durable and plenty of wing choices. For winging I think the axis glide 1010 is the best allrounders for 85kg riders in <20knot winds. The low aspect 1020 is very slow and only really good for those first few sessions. If you've had foil time already behind a boat then you should be able to learn on a quicker high aspect wing. The Naish gear is also good, but getting close in price to a full carbon setup these days. Armstrong and GoFoil are the pick of the carbon foils. Great wings and zero corrosion issues. For mast length you want something around 75-82cm. plenty of good wing ding choices out there. The ozone wasp is a V1 model and seems to be holding up well for some users. They have slightly floppy handles and a big thick leading edge. If you can find a wasp 5m for good price then it will serve you well. Otherwise consider the doutone 5m Echo(boom), Smik 5m, Ensis 5.2m, Armstrong 4.5/5.5m. f-one swing 5m, takoon 5m.

At 88kg, don't get a 110 litre board to start on, get at least 125 litres but plan to move down to a smaller board once you have some skills developed.

The Fanatic Sky Wing looks great, and seems to be in stock at the moment in Sydney.
The 6" could be a good option.
It might be time to do some damage to the wallet.

On the foil side the Axis is a good start and still I feel the best Alloy set up on the market and unless you want full carbon gear then the Axis 1010 or 1020 are pretty easy forgiving wings to start on.

The 6'5 x 29 recessed deck is a good easy board that is great for a bit off everything. Built full PVC sandwich in either full Carbon or full glass so light and crazy strong. Need anymore info on this feel free to hit me up.

I purchased the 6' Sky Wing a couple of weeks ago to learn on and I'm really happy with it. Seems to have adequate stability. I'm using it with a 2000 Naish Jetfoil. I'd recommend it but don't have anything to compare it to.

looking for board that i can wing and sup on - I'm 80 kgs - any recommendations - happy to go with something a bit challenging in size/volume ?
