Funny, I don't feel like the 1850 is a slug at all. And that's after having ridden the 1125 and 925. I haven't ridden the 1550V2, but the 1850 gets up fast, turns well enough and is so easy to ride.
Your having us on arent you? Was great to learn on but man it was yawn material after too long. Goes real early though - perfect for marginal conditions.
i also found it an average pumper. But then again there is a local sup foiler who makes it piss - depends hey on the user i suppose.
i feel a hell of a lot has to do with tail choice and shimming as well. Been mucking around with lots of different tail / shim setups and the difference is unbelievable.
