I broke my short red fuse last week so I went and upgraded to the advanced ultra short red fuse at surf FX. I'm 78 kg and ride the PNG 910 for both prone and wing. I've been able to move the mast forward in the box (both prone and wing boards) which has made both boards easier to turn and manoeuvre, but no loss of control. Pumping is also easier I think because I'm further forward on the board. I have also found the PNG 910 to lift more gently, which is great on the prone because this wing likes to lift!!! All in all a great change and I wish I had not been so reluctant to make the switch to this fuse.

Anyone out there have a similar experIence?

I share your experience, moving the past forward only has positive effects... IMO, axis fuses still have the mast too far backward. I experimented with a custom one where the front wing bolts directly into the mast and the result is mind blowing!

Any negative impact on pump or glide by switching to advanced?

I think it pumps a little better because the mast is further forward in the box. I can now put my foot behind the mast which makes pumping a little easier. Glide is much the same.
