I am considering a 90 litre mini dart for parawing.
anyone use one? I am currently using a North midi 96 litre and find it good but would like get something a bit lighter.
other suggestions welcome.

Yes I have used my mini dart 90 extensively for parawinging this season. I weigh about 77/78kg without wetsuit and this board has been amazing.

While I struggled with the parawing on my Naish Chimera 88, the Dart was simply more stable and easy to get up. The nose is more voluminous and it is wider through the board.the Naish definitely feels more compact and a smaller board and was a dream to wing but at my skill level at the time it was simply not working for the parawing.

the board does everything that I need and I ride it lit up on my 2.4 (admittedly I could swap down to a 70l) all the way to light wind parawing sessions with a 5.0 size .

It is light and sturdy enough. Deck pad has held up well.

If you are looking for an easy parawing board this is your ticket . Feel free to check out my videos with the board:

Im ~85kg on a 72 liter, Frank mini dart, 6' x 20" (same shape, modified dims and construction - lighter). Even at the low volume I'd echo the prior poster's feedback that its a relatively easy board. My theory is that the flatter, wider tail adds quite a bit of stability. I also find that it builds speed and the rocker releases it very well for its lower volume. The rails are quite forgiving on touchdowns.

The one thing that I have struggled with a little bit is that I find it pretty sensitive to foot placement on takeoff, and if I get it wrong it will pearl. Thats definitely a function of the volume/weight ratio that I'm on. For a lower volume board I might distribute a little more volume into the nose, but for neutral to positive, I bet its spot on.

Overall a board that I've been very happy with. I have several boards, but in the past year I've used this board 90% of the time. Mostly parawing, but also some winging where its also a great board.

Got my 100L mini dart in Jan. loved it so far for winging and eventually pw. when I bought it it was the best price/quality/shape aggregate board on the market imo. Now there are lighter boards that also have great shapes and build quality.

If I were shopping for a pw board now I'd also look at project drag, armie mid mk2, omen flux v2, etc.
