Hi Duotone Riders I am looking for the best Duotone Foil set up for 14 knots offshore conditions for waist to shoulder high waves, mainly waist though. looking for something to surf with the wing in the flagging position

I use the Glide 905 when it's light and smaller then the Carve dlab 850 when it's windy and bigger.

You can see in the vid, pretty much when I'm on green board I'm on the Glide 905 when on blue board the carve 850.

I'm 93kg dry so similar weight to you, short fuse & 180 tail on both

I have been lucky enough to have been given the whole Duotone Range of foils from a Dealer 500klm away as we don't normally get access to demo before we buy. After trying them all in 14 -20 knots my favourite was the Carve 2.0. Foils I tried was glide 1305, Carve 1400, Carve 2.0 1430, Free 1250. Glide and Carve 2.0 were my favourites due to the slippery feeling and acceleration and performance. I liked the Carve 2.0 better for the tighter turns with not having to sacrifice much. both these foils required more technique and effort to get up compared to the free and carve, but is worth the effort. Just wondering though if the smaller size would still be ok in 14-20 knots with the 5m dlab

they are all pretty big foils but of course depends on your level and style. Biggest foil I use winging is Glide 1085 for lightwind bump riding downwinders. I pair it with 60 fuse & 165 tail and it still turns pretty good. for lightwind small breaking waves I use glide 905 with 180 tail and once over shoulder high or 20knts the carve dlab 850 with 180 tail. I'm 93 kg & use 85 & 65L boards and can go no probs in 10knts with 5.5 unit dlab on the glide 905

I will see if I can get my hands on a 908 glide and a 1100 Carve to demo. They will probably be a better combo with my 1305 Glide that I have

If I use the 1305 Glide that I have up to 18 -20 knots would I be better suited to try the 850 or 1100 Carve 2.0 for above 18 knots. The waves here are not that powerful and are often ridden manly as swell and a very short time as they break
