Looking for a board for sup foiling and wing dinging on, one board to rule them all.
I'm weighing in at 90kg, i been learning on my mates naish 120 board, up on the foil with the wing now (not gybing or anything yet so still learning).

The new range of Konrads are worth a look
Just got one from Jason at WA Surf.

I second the Konrad boards mate. I'm 100kgs and have the new 6'4 sup glidr model and it's awesome.
They also have a handle on the bottom of the board which is awesome when carrying the lot down to the water.

Really hard combo to get a one board to do it all as the boards are really designed to do different things.

Foiling on a surf SUP to be honest sucks as a surf SUP is designed to stick to the wave and a good foil board is designed to release from the water as easy as possible.

We did make A crossover board www.oneoceansportsaustralia.com/shop/crossover-supfoil-board and I have used them a little and even done some downwinding on them but if I had any choice at all I would not be getting a crossover and more focus on a board for each sport so you get a board that is built for the purpose it is meant for.

If you still really want a crossover just hit me up as I will do a sweet deal on some of the ones we have left.

Not sure I totally agree. Have a 6 6 that I use for both and was getting heaps of flak from mates on small boards that I need a smaller wingding board. Have towed in on a 4 foot board and really did not notice much magical difference using a tiny board. Just used a 5 8 wingding board for 2 days. Hard to get up because of knee starts, especially in light wind. Once up again nothing magical. Went back to my 6 6 and it was Smik

Take away was that going smaller does not instantly translate into a huge gain in performance. The main issue with the 4 footer and the 5 8 was the mast track was right at the back of the board so hard to get balanced with my foil. The distance from the front of the board to the mast was the same on the 6 6 and 5 8 so the same swing weight. Will look at a smaller board with the mast track further forward and see if that makes a difference.

Hey Paul.J not quite i just want a boars purely for foiling but one that will transition between sup foil and wingding well, not really worried about suping without the foil

Im 90kg as well and have found the Konrad glidr sup foil 6'0 is great. Stable, doesn't catch on the water when you touch down. Big enough to progress on and still small enough when you get better.

Full PVC sandwich with two construction options plus they also have all the foot strap inserts. Very light and very strong.

Jacko, do you have any photos of these boards that show the deck recess, profile shape and thickness?

They have a slight recess but we needed the volume so it is only shallow.
