Since this is technically still a wing foil forum, I like to ask a wing question if that's cool with you all. Does anyone have any feedback on Core wings? Halo Pro 2, Halo Exotic? Are they any good? They have a funky handle, does it work?

I got to try the Halo Pro 2, 3.5m size during AWSI. The wind was terrible. Very holey and ranging from 10 - 20kts. I rode many wings during the show, and the Halo Pro 2 was by far my favorite. It handled that wind range with no issues. Tough when I came off foil during the lulls, but popped right back up as soon as there was any pull at all. Everyone else was having similar issues with the wind. Lots of lulls & people sitting on board waiting for a gust.
I’m not a huge fan of booms. Hard to pack & travel, and the straight booms from most brands bother my hands & wrists because you’re kind of “locked in” to positions. The Core boom is very ergo dynamic. Your hands are in a natural position. I really liked the feel of the grip material, too.
if you can accept the eye-watering price, it’s a great choice. If your wallet isn’t that big, I also liked the F-one Strike & Cabrinha Mantis. You won’t feel as bad putting your foil through one of those 😄

I wonder if we will see a curved or kinked boom that matches the ergonomics of two handles?

The boom on the Reedin supernatural (last gen) is slightly curved, and felt really comfortable when I tested it. I got to try the 5m for a few sessions when my current 5m wing (gong droid aramid) was at the shop for repairing.
