What do you say when you head out for a session, "winging" or "flying", both sound equally ridiculous.

I guess I could say wing foiling but I'm lazy and not shortening it is just un-Australian.

I believe the correct nomenclature is "I am going wingadingalinging". Which can be shortened to "dingalinging" or just "dinging", if among friends.

I say winging or wingsurfing, since my focus is waves. Wingfoiling is more specific, though some people use wings on skateboards, snowboards, sups, etc.

When talking to non-players, I tend to just say "windsurfing", saves some pointless questions.

Logical syntax is important, I like it. Though not sure about your having a great dong, maybe you use that term differently down there.
(but hey, up in Canada we have a clothing company called Roots, so cultural differences happen)

Roots could come out with a Dong line of Ding gear.

I simply say "going for a wing", seeems seems make sense to anybody that knows the sport. For anyone not familiar with the sport I find I have to explain it all anyway, regardless of what I call it.

Every time I leave the house I just say "I'm going for a surf" even if I'm going to work.??

I say just going for a surf as I don't really know what im going to do until I get to the beach , although it's pretty much winging every time .

"Wing" is really too ambiguous. Especially when we call the sail and the foil both "wings". I was toying with the idea of mixing words to get something new, short, and pronounceable:
- FRee wING = Fring?
- FLying wIng = Fling?
...

Ideas?
