I reckon the Crest 800 is one of the best all round 800's & defiantly DT's best surf foil to date.

I have the Crest 1050.
im really enjoying it, super smooth and very easy to use.
I came from Glide2 and Whizz.
I feel it could be my only foil, use it from 8-30 knts and also with Parawing. Eventually when funds permit will get the 800.

Yep, I've got the 800 and 1050. Covers me from 12 - 40 knots. I also came from Glide 2's. I demoed one just for fun and unfortunately for my bank account, I had no choice but to buy them. I was that impressed. Great bottom end, very good glide (not as good as the Glides but not far off), super turny, but at the same time quite stable and confidence inspiring. Fantastic all round foil. Note that I've only winged them as I haven't got into parawinging yet. I reckon the 1050 will be good to learn.

I've got the 925, and the 675 and both monoblock px tail sizes, I'm 100kg. I love the crest, great in the surf and forgiving for improving tacks and gybes on flat water for progression.

For comparison having ridden the range.. the duotone glide is faster and slightly better glide, whiz was looser, blitz is fastest, carve turns better and has control at speed , for a weekened warrior the crest is fun and easy to ride...

Here's a HD video riding 925 with 145 mb tail, I've been riding almost 2 years , in my 40's so just riding for my fun, no redbull tricks, you can see the crest makes tacks and gybes so easy.. also other vids on my youtube channel of surf etc. on crest and other foils.
