KT Arc Footstrap Inserts. Why???

I was shocked when I saw that the new Arc does not allow for front v strap settings.
I saw some initial protos with the initial v strap inserts but all the incoming one have the traditional split ones.
why??

It's likely to allow the people who ride with foot straps to use more offset stance, to have more leverage over the foil. How big is your board BTW?

Just buy one as KT is good gear and I’ll put inserts in - I can source those same 1/2” spacing ones

Your argument makes sense but it is detrimental to people who actually swap feet after every turn as offset wont help.

you mean you adding additional hole/inserts or you sourcing a plate which is installed on the two insert lines?

I build and repair boards. I put extra inserts in to boards often.


I meant that most inserts are the traditional 1” spacing Chinook style. I can source those 1/2” spacing ones that are only used by a couple of manufacturers (to assist in making it look like factory install, when putting them in aftermarket install)
