I had one of the original Armstrong FG boards from an early production batch and enjoyed using it for the 8 weeks I had it. Sadly it cracked on the edge of the deck concave because the PVC/Carbon sandwich only went to the edge of the standing area. The warranty response was first class and they offered me replacement or money back. I went with returning it because Armstrong couldn't say if the PVC sandwich on later manufactured boards was improved and that the problem was fixed.
I subsequently went with a Patrik AIO partly because it is full PVC/Sandwich, deck, rails and hull like a good windsurf construction.
I have a full quiver of Armstrong foils and like the idea of matching them with the new FG board but would really like to know more about the construction. There is very little information online about how the board is manufactured.
Does anyone have any more information on construction? Its good to see that the boards are a bit more sensibly priced than the old ones in the UK but they are still high end and I could buy any or all of the other brands for the 1750 GBP. But the warranty is still 6 months while AFS boards have a 2 year warranty as does PPC I think and both are full PVC/Carbon AFAIK.

I have a 60L FG, it has proven to be very tough, I fall off a lot, it is super stable and I cannot really fault it. I am sure these boards will be even stronger therefore my current 60Litre is for sale :)
