I'm hoping the next gen get closer to the glide and pump of the Code / KT / AFS.

If it's a whole new system, then it risks people changing brands? Surely the mast will stay?

Pretty sure mast is the same as the current version.
The fuse looks to be changing.

There are a few shops in AU that have some in store for viewing, seems to be a bit of confusion around if they are available for demo yet - maybe JB can clarify.
From what I've seen current mast will definitely work with the new setup - new fuse needed however, means current foils become redundant.
Found this page buried in the website that has a diagram of a funky frankenstein-esk looking fuse connection thingy - not sure what's going on there but I'm sure more to come whenever the official announcements are:

That fuse looks kinda bizarre. Interesting.
Other brands move to a two piece approach, Naish to a 4 piece one.

In my (non-engineering) head, more pieces means more screws which means more points of failure. We will see

This was a pre-production concept; however, the final product-which I've had for a few weeks now-features a aluminum single piece fuselage.

Anybody have some feedback on the new foils?
Thoughts on performance / sizing?

Gotta love the marketing:
Siren text: "if one foil could do it all, this would be it!"
Excalibur text: "the only foil you'll ever need!"

I'm too old to fall for this again.. demo demo demo!!!

Anyone ridden the Excalibur yet? Particularly interested in smaller sizes for winging

I demoed the Siren and Exaclibur last weekend on a demo event (on a lake).
I,m riding AFS myself and tried a lot of different brands but was quite impressed with the Naish gear.
The Siren 10000+1200 are a really fun, playfull and still predictable with pretty decent glide/pumping and have a lot of low end for there size (a bit like Armstrond HA and MA first gen where the 880 had the same low end as my Silk 1050).
The Excalibur felt more straight lined but really really glidey. I,m not an great pumper, but this 944 kept gliding.

I have 9 AFS foils and 2 masts for it so i,m not gonna switch, but If I would need a new DW foilset that Excalibur would be really high on my shortlist and although I haven,t tried them in the waves I think i can happily live with the Sirens for Wing and Parawing.
They really stepped up there game!

Btw: I also tried a hollow 78l Chimera (for refference i,m 95kg and ride a KT SuperK V2 procarbon myself)) and that Naish insanely quick on the foil and a joy to pump.
I have a light board myself but The big diff is noticable and the extra stiffness really even more.
They are expensive, but also a league on there own and I can see myself getting the 6.6x108l for lighterwind Para.
