If you are a Power Pack owner and feeling at bit left out with all of the recent model releases we tried and tested a new upgrade that in my opinion makes it better than the Pocket Rocket v2.

upgrade improves the depower high end range and upwind performance , while maintaining the great stow and relaunch reliability of the Power Pack.

the Modification:
remove the Power Pack control bar ,and replace with the Fone, Quest bar or similar, keep same line settings as the PP etc , including bow line.

instantly you will have way better depower at the top end, we rode the 3m Pocket Rocket 2 vs the modified Power Pack 3.6m and The Power Pack rode a lot better and depowered better than the 3m.

if you can get your hands on a new bar I expect this will even improve the Pocket Rocket2 but haven’t tried this yet.

The Power Pack was a great parawing but now can be easily upgraded to new Power Pack v2😃

I rode yesterday the PR Ultra X in a demo day, that has the extension in front as well and of course its more as just the bar, but it was way more comfortable.
I can,t find seperate Fone bars, but Gong sells seperate bars...Might be intersting to look into and try.
