I’ve just put together a short showing how I currently pack and stow my parawing for a downwind run. I’ve found that the goal isn’t to pack the wing as fast as possible. It’s to have a simple, repeatable routine that lets you keep your eyes on the water while navigating your downwind line. This is the method that’s been working really well for me, and it gives me a tangle-free redeploy almost every time. Any tricks or different approaches you’ve found?

I shove it in as fast as humanly possible and make peace with the fact that I'm stubborn as hell and won't be redeploying anyway - I'll be pumping away on the tiniest bump due to a stupid tactical error and come off foil before you see me ever trying to throw it back out. Redeploys are for witches!

😂😂😂😂 It’s so easy to picture that exact move. I think as your downwind skills grow, you’ll be able to relax a bit more and take the time to figure out your own routine. Once you have one, you don’t really need to think about it anymore.

+1, redeploying is for basic bitches who aren’t committed to their runs… either eat it at speed or pump through

Yep, get a repeatable system and it works for life. I have to make a few small tweaks when riding various brands but it's almost exactly the same for me every time. At this point I'm surfing while packing away and barely even think about it.
