Finally a way to tune power control and steering of a parawing independently of each other.
Cannot post a photo because I'm a new member so you'll have to wait a bit so see what it looks like.

Thanks Sandee!

Instead of having all the lines connect one of three points on a straight bar, a plate opens up a whole new dimension. And with a bit of crossover magic you get very nice steering.

So, you've used this control bar a bit? Any findings yet on the ability to stow & redeploy the parawing without tangles? I wonder if maybe it could just stick onto the outside of the bag somehow? I expect that a few people will be interested to learn more. You didn't mention what parawing you're flying?

It's still early days, but we've proven that the principle works on the first test using a prototype parawing from one of the big players.

Each string gets connected to a unique spot on the plate which means (for now at least) the plate will be custom made for each wing manufacturer.
