Curious about the 94 or 103l Coaster for winging in ****ty fickle wind conditions vs my current 95l Carver. The Carver has served me well, but when underdone on rough water it can be like getting up onto a greased log. I also find the rail a bit grabby at times, it doesn’t deflect well. I’m interested in anyone’s experience riding the Sunova Coaster?

Was a old post about the coaster.
“A quick rip on the new Sunova Coaster”
My carver is still going well after years of use. Great board.

Thanks Steve, I’ve found that thread now. Just the sort of discussion I was hoping to read about 👍.
Hard to know if the Coaster would be an improvement, maybe just different

I don't know that you'll feel a big upgrade moving to the Coaster TBH. It's not a bad board, but it just felt like a small shift away from the Carver. I just sold my custom Carver and Pilot mid this season. The Pilot had way better rail release but I think a lot of that was length and thickness. The Emissary that I'm on now, the takeoff release and touch downs are really clean and a clear step up but I don't know that it is better for stability.

Thanks, good advice. I’ll stick with my ole faithful Carver for a little while longer
