HiI was wondering where you would invest an extra $1000 to improve the current set-up.
- Foil Naish 2018 Thrust L 75cm mast- Wing Naish 1st generation Wingsurfer 4.0m- Board Naish SUP Raptor 7'0 116L
Very happy with the gear so far as I got a terrific deal. It let me learn the sport, and even if it is heavy, it is quite bulletproof after a few accidents..I'm 81Kg and sail in Sydney, not as much as I would love as I have a young family to look after... I have this extra cash and would like to improve my low wind range; Now, I can get going when it is solid 15-17kts, and I would like to lower on those days that sits on the 12-14kts. Also, If it is possible would like to reduce the weight as it is a pain to carry around...

The Naish wingsurfer V1 was considered softie and low power even compared to other V1's.
The foil is old design,this sport has evolved fast.
The board is big for winging,but good size to keep as a SUP foiler maybe.

For 80kg and 12-25 kt i would say:
4.5m Wing
1200-1500 Med HA foil
90 liter board

If you can afford it best thing would be to look for a store package including all three,and sell what you have ASAP.

As Hilly says your expectations of what you will get for your gear might be optimistic.

Upgrading just one thing...i would sell wing first,foil second,board third.

Sorry if this sounds negative,just trying to be realistic,it is an expensive sport.Most guys here (me included) have thrown lots of money into the water :)

Or buy used, saving 50%.
450 dollars get's you materials to make a board.

The board is worth money because it's also a regular SUP. Chopping it will be almost as much work as building a board and destroy any value.

I'd look at a HA foil first.
Then smaller board. At your weight you could do a chop job on various old windsurf boards.

I was in a similar position last year. Had a 7'4" Naish crossover SUP/windsurf foil board, 1450 cm2 cloud nine surf foil, 1st Gen 4m2 Naish wing surfer. A couple of ex kite surfers I'd see at the local spot had nice gear (6m slingwings, 5'6" Fanatic SkyWing Boards, 2000 cm2 HA Sab foils) and were always flying around while I struggled to get off the water. I didn't want to have to rebuy gear, as I had 6 mos prior just purchased the board and wing. So begrudgingly sold hand wing, and got one that was 2m larger. Now I could at least get on foil. Then sold the crossover and looked for a lite weight dedicated wing board. Got an Fone rocket. My sessions started lasting longer because I wasnt gassed from pumping. Then sold the foil and got an Amstrong 2400. I then could foil in average daily conditions like the ex kitesurfers. From last August till now, I got better in technique. Recently sold all my second gen stuff, and now ride smaller gear- a 75 L Armstrong sinker board, 4.8m PPC, 1850 Armstrong foil that can be comfortably ridden by my 90kg arse in 12 knots. So yeah its a slog having to sell one piece at a time to buy the next thing. If on a limited budget, I'd first get a new hand wing. Lots of competition, and theproducts are much better now. The PPC wings are affordable options and have lots ofpower. You could probably get a 4.8 . Whatever choice, you need more power.

agree ... sort out the power 'source' first, i.e. the wing, then the flight surfaces (i.e. the foil) then the board ... good luck! It will be a fun journey investing and enjoying new gear and skills afforded by the higher performance kit

I've has the '18 Naish 1220 windsurf wing for 3rd season.
Bought 1150 and long fuze this spring.
Totally love 1220 with long fuze and 310 stab.
1150 is faster by a bit and almost 4 lbs. I
lighter in weight.
Mostly, windfoil, I use the 600, 79 fuze, and 310 stab. My clumsiness has not embraced the 210 stab yet.
1220 is super smooth.

It's terrible for wind challenged places. I owned one (4 m2) but could not find the right conditions to fly at my local. Then again, my entire set up had challenges so it was part of an overall problem.

I agree a 2000 sq cm foil trumps your 1500 Surf L at 1500. It also foiIs up sooner than my 1220.
But throwing bigger might not be the only way to go.
Lots of wingers are using 1000 as their one and only foil for winds 8-18 with a 5.2 wing and 75 kgs. Note....5.2 wing sizing.
A bigger front foil will fit your current fuze, but as Martyj4 said, fits only 2018 masts, without quite a bit of metal filing to open the cavity of your 2018 fuze.
Personally, I suspect your gen 1, 4 meter all around wing was meant for 15-25 mph winds, so maybe a bigger, more powerful wing would lower you wind threshold down to the mid teens.
Another poster mentioned Armstrong, Ennis, and PPC, all 3 being more powerful than other wings.

I had the opportunity to try an Armstrong Foil with an A-wing.It was really nice to ride... Even if is Expensive it looks like it holds the value much better than other brands.So I'm thinking of increasing my budget...

If it was me I would start with a bigger gruntier wing, get the whole thing moving better. After that I would upgrade the foil as soon as funds allow. Then maybe even hold onto the board and get into some sup foiling and add a second higher performance wing board.
