Get the Shokx swimpro.... They are great!

I've been using other Shokz headphones (Openrun) that worked quite well; they may not have had the OpenSwim model back then, or I just did not see it. Shokz seems to be quite conservative with their IP ratings, unlike many cheap headphones that promise IP7, but have clearly visible holes in the housing and then die after a couple of sessions.

Yes. I wear them often under a WIP Wipper 2.0 helmet

I have areopex by aftershokz, (probably similar to open run), do you reckon that would work?

I reckon they might fall out when wet, and disappear to the bottom of the ocean..

Probably not if you wear a hood and helmet with ear covers.

I use the Sony ones that are not bluetooth. They have 4G of storage. MP3 player kind of. They don't feel great with a wetsuit hood pushing in but fine without. Helmet keeps them on so no need for a leash. Easy to skip songs and adjust volume even with gloves. I like that I can leave my goddamn phone in the van. Only problem, in the streaming subscription music world we live in, it is hard to download music that I don't own on my computer. So I have to go back 10 years to my library of music files. Which has some gems in it for sure.

Agree with Hilly here....enjoying the noise, or quite while out in the water is what makes it enjoyable. Plus singing your own bad songs to help with timing of moves.
Why would you want to take calls anyway.
