Looking for V shaped or equivament, non-absorving-water and as soft as possible footraps.

Armstrong ? North ? Other EVA footraps ?

Starboard Mk4 are really nice and they can do a Vee pretty easily.

I have a PPC v footstrap. It's made of double density foam so it's light and doesn't absorb water. The v shape definitely reduces twisting compared to two regular straps.

Make your own. Get any Eva foam with adhesive you like - flat brushed is nice - make a sandwich with some ratchet strap webbing. Melt some holes with a lighter and a nail.

I got the North straps recently (as they were on sale on North site) and they feel good and don't absorb any water (main reason for trying them).

I didn't like these for windsurfing, but they work well for winging

Hi, thanks so much for your contributions !!

Finally 've picked the Amsgtrong. Foiled one day and they are amazing non-absorbing footstraps.Quite expensive, although they include great titanium screws & fixing plate.

Do a wee before going out and you have the same weight reduction as non wet footstraps.

^ I don't really care about the weight. The advantage for me is: they're easy to lie on if I have to do the paddle of shame; and they don't drip water in my van

If you are an aggressive rider, or jump, keep an eye on them, they are prone to breaking easily !

I've had a set for a couple of years and I like them but they do tend to fall apart (delaminate). However they can be easily fixed with some Kwik Grip.

So this broke today - not a big crash or anything, I guess just over time the foam tears around the screw and then its a matter of time. The big oval shaped plastic washers PPC provides to secure the strap down to the board might be too big to properly compress the foam, I was worried I'd strip the inserts if I went much tighter.

Love that idea
reminds me of the wife's objection to me heating up steel skewers in the kitchen to melt holes in webbing or EVA
They don't get it

What happened with replacing the 2nd set? Mine are being replaced too, but I don't know if I want another set if it's just going to break again after 4 months.

Been using them for almost two years now.
Weighing 120kg/260lbs and they are still fine. No breakage yet. But not really cheap...
Nice idea that there is one spare screw included with each strap

If you are going to use them with booties they migth be small for feet above size 45. Bare they are fine

Tariffa Foil Boards. You mostly won't see kite racers on any other ones. The latest axis ones are pretty similar.
