Is it possible for a bladder to twist inside the actual LE??

The reason I ask this is because the inflator nozzle thingo on my boxer no longer lines up with the hole in the fabric of the LE.
It is possible to pull it through during inflation, but once the kite is inflated the nozzle is all askew, and it then becomes difficult to properly put the plug in the freaking nozzle..

Sorry for the long winded explanation, but its damn annoying and hard to explain..

Cheers All

Yes it is and yes it does... Only solution is to shake the crap out of the area and work it away from either side. Then inflate a little to see if it is gone. Repeat if required till gone !

Outcold,

It is very possible for this to happen. If you do not take the bladder out or at least untwist the bladder, it will eventually get worse and either blow, or damage your outter-fabric bladder area.

You will either need to remove the bladder fully, re-power/talc it, and re-put it in (contact me if u want details on how to do this), or half pump it up, position the valve in the correct area, and slowly clasp your hand along the bladder, and move it along and this will untwist it - It sucessfully works on small twists, however yours sounds a little more serious.

All the best.

Yep it happens, probaly has something to do with the way you roll it up. Change the way you roll it up.
How do you roll it up?
Is your kite a Boxer 1?

To fix it without taking the baldder out, find the velcro or zipper opening near the centre of the LE where you can remove the bladder.
get some talc, and put it in the hole, and then get you hand in as far as you can reach, even pushing the leading edge over your arm to get your arm as far down the LE as possible, use plenty of talc.

Inflate slowly, if the problem does not sort itself after this let the air out and try again, if it does not work after that (and it should) you would need to remove the bladder and refit it, well talced.
