I was in the second group too, and had an unforgettable week. It was great to spend a whole week with a good group of guys just kiting and talking kiting

And with Darrens excellent instruction and guidance it was impressive to see how everyone progressed over the week.
The week didnt start too good for me, hurting my ankle with a bad landing from a front roll. Fortunately one of the other guys, Ben, knew how to bandage it up properly so it was supported. So Tuesday I had a pretty good kite, mainly working on the front rolls with some stylish variations that Darren suggested.
Wednesday I had an average session, wasnt pushing too hard, but Thursday was a cracker. It started with my first real self-rescue as my LE went down after a crash a couple hundred meters out. After walking my soggy kite up the beach and untangling the lines I was back out in front of the camera trying a mix of tricks. Darren suggested focusing on one, so the backroll kiteloop it was

Puppet and gruezi were on the beach with Darren on the camera, and were amused seeing me being whipped though the air, so they fired me up to entertain them further, with calls of 'do another one!' to which I obliged until the wind picked up a few more knots which resulted in a few hard stacks

and the question 'Did you land on your head on that one!?'
Like the others said, having everyone motivating each other and darrens instructions in real time and with the video analysis in slow motion does wonders for improving your kiting, and is highly recommended.
Thanks heaps for the course Darren, I'm looking forward to doing it again after I've had some time to apply all that I'd learnt this week.
