Cool straps, the most important thing is still getting them in the right spot on the board. I have been amazed at the amount of guys getting straps put on their board by so called professionals who dont have a clue where they should go. 99% of riders will have their back foot over or slightly foward of the front fins on a thruster, no further back
with these straps you can have the back strap forward of your surfing position and then move your foot back in a natural action to surf the tail. The insert system allows the rider to choose their own position.
These new Predator Surf Straps are sensational for kiting in the waves - instead of kiting near the waves like everyone does, you can actually surf the waves, and pull the same fast turns, cut backs, re-entries and airs like a surfer does. hi Blownaway, next week ARwakensurf will have them in stock at Tweed and Coolangatta and Darcy Surfboards at Currumbin will also have them. Sambo the strap is designed to fit on the centre line(stringer) of surfboards and requires two screw holes 20 - 25 centres. If you want to know more pm me and I will give you my phone#.
I checked with D'arcy Surfboards yesterday, the straps are not in as yet. Apparently there is more tooling to be done, and they won't be in for a couple weeks yet.
Hi Sambo Straps were sent to AR wakensurf today. All tooling has been finished and if Darcy would answer his phone I could get an order off to him too. Ring Motti he should have them by the weekend. Straps started being sent out yesterday and now they can be got online if your local store does not stock them.
