Going through that now manicskier,
Not sure how it will turn out, for sporting equ. in a company car is a grey area hey. It's insured if someone stole the car the from my driveway at home.I'm doing some serious finger crossing for we just had a new baby (4 weeks old) so at the moment their is no way I can buy 2 new kites hey. The camera had a heap of baby photos too.
Cheers Gerard.

Thanks for the offer Meerkat!!!
I'll see how it pan's out just spoke to head office and it's not looking good on the insurance front.
One good point was I was out on my 12 so I got a mid size kite left.

Well where do I start?
Ok,
A lady rings my phone which is has been diverted to my boss's phone and ask's when we can get the car out of her street? (She had got the phone number off the side of my car large company logo etc.)
Pete was like what is there a white Triton there? That car has been stolen! She said yes it's been here since Wednesday afternoon.
So I got my car back!!!!!!!!!
I ring the cop's asking what to do, they said just go pick it up take it to Cockburn Station so they can take it off stolen list. Pete pick's me up all the way up there we go through the different possible scenarios. None even came close.
The Car was in a new estate in Coogee, Nemagold Grove (no houses in the street yet) as we park next to it the drivers door is open and the back is open. (I was hoping they hadn't found the key to the back where kite gear was) upon closer inspection we find that the only thing missing is my wallet, phone and sunnies.
So the back is open 2 kites and set of golf clubs just sitting there????!!!!!
No damage to the car, they had done some burn outs.
The lady who rang comes over to have a look we thank her and give a box of chocolates for her help. She said she saw the car dropped off by two guy's (did get a good look but she said they looked young) but a white mid 90's commodore station wagon had followed my car in and picked up the guy's. She had how ever got a look at the driver of the commodore. 30 - 40 year old female with blondey brown hair.
I have a look around the grass thinking they might have chucked my wallet away I found a few bottles with garden hose sticking out the side? But I also found a Dakine - Storm seat harness (not mine). So I'm thinking that may be they come here a bit with either cars stolen form the beach or the goods they flogged that day?
So if any ones see's a white Commodore station wagon VR, VP or VS at Woodies keep an eye on it. And if they get stuff stolen go strait to Nemagold Gve in Coogee and just maybe they still could be there sorting through their days takings.
I still got no idea how I could have been so lucky hey!
If someone lost a seat harness contact me.
If any one else is keen I would be willing to give up day of kite to keep a look out and if a few of us did this for a few weeks armed with a camera I think we would have a good chance of getting someone?
Cheers Gerard.

Maybe you guys should put in some dough, not sure on the cost, and run a wireless camera at the top of the pole at the end of the pier facing into the carpark, and catch some of these thieving pri#ks!! I kited there for a week last year and had a ball, but i know that because the car park is so isolated it is a thiefs haven.
Good luck with it fellas, and gerard, I LMFAO with the wheelie comment, hilarious!!

Am happy that this story has a good ending of sorts.
What really gets me about the "act" is how brazen it was. There were about 5 of us standing around having a talk just before, or even while they took the car. I remember seeing the white ute or whatever with 3 guys in it. I even took a close look because they were neither fishos nor kiters. Perhaps they live locally and will visit again soon. Think the driver had blondish hair and was wearing a greyish beanie. Didn't reall check the fellas in back though.
Low life scum that is best burned at the stake.
