You have to love daylight saving In one sunday I slet in till 9.30 then built kids steering on 2 yachts , stopped for a lazy lunch, then sewwed some curtains, THEN thought "plenty of time to build a yacht!"
THis time im lowering the yacht to help with the stability at speed , rear wheels have been raked over to 12degrees. I figure , since Im not wearing out tyres, the yacht isnt trying hard enough. The front steering has also been lowered by 50mm and the mast base tube reduced to 200mm. . The seat will be almost flat and built up at the front to "fair" in the nose .
All this should allow the boom to be lowered by nearly 200mm . the new eye level for the pilot is at the same height as the top of the wheels. with wieght slimming , Ive chipped off 2kg off the overall weight. . By getting my new test pilot Bastijn, Demusyere to sail it Ive sliced off another 20kgs

.
here is the result of the first days welding(plus all the other stuff listed above)
